What’s promised, what’s not

By accessing humansaremyth.com you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms and by our Privacy Notice. If you don’t agree, you must stop using the site. If you are using the site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

This site is a marketing and waitlist page. It exists to describe the game, share fragments of the chronicle, and let you put your email on a list so you’ll be notified when the gate opens. There is nothing else for sale here today and nothing to log into.

Information on the site about the game (regions, mechanics, lore) is illustrative. The game is in development; specifics may change. Pre-launch promises are not contractual unless they appear, in writing, in a separate signed agreement.

Our work. Everything you see on this site — the name Humans Are Myth, the chronicle, the regions (The Whispering Bones, The Glasswood, The Drowned Coast, and others), the lore quotes, the artwork, the orb, the typography choices, the source code, and every other original element — is owned by NaN Logic LLC or used under license. It’s protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

What you can do. Read, share the URL, screenshot a passage to send to a friend, quote a few sentences in a review or news article with attribution. The usual fan and journalistic uses are fine.

What you can’t do. Republish substantial portions of the chronicle text or the artwork as your own; sell merchandise using the name or marks; create derivative games or paid content using the lore; or use the marks to suggest endorsement or affiliation we have not granted. If in doubt, write to HRM@nanlogic.com and ask.

By using the site, you confirm that:

• You have the legal capacity to agree to these terms.
• You are at least 13 years old (and at least the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
• You will not access the site through automated means (scrapers, headless bots) except for the well-known search and AI-discovery crawlers we welcome via robots.txt.
• You will not use the site or the waitlist for any unlawful purpose.

You agree not to:

• Sign up for the waitlist using someone else’s email without their consent, or use disposable / catch-all addresses to game any future Founder Citizen offering.
• Submit the form repeatedly to flood our records or our inbox.
• Attempt to probe, scan, exploit, or compromise the site or any underlying infrastructure (Vercel, Resend, etc.).
• Reverse-engineer the source code beyond what is strictly necessary for security research conducted in good faith and reported privately to HRM@nanlogic.com.
• Republish substantial portions of the chronicle text, the artwork, or the world’s proprietary names as if they were yours, in any medium.
• Impersonate NaN Logic LLC, the chronicle, or any of its fictional voices in a way that could mislead a reasonable reader.

The site references a future Founder Citizen tier. What is currently promised is narrow:

• We will email everyone on the waitlist when the gate opens.
• Founder Citizens (a subset to be defined when paid tiers exist) will have the option to have their chosen name recorded in the opening passage of the chronicle, subject to NaN Logic LLC’s right to refuse names that are abusive, defamatory, or would breach the rights of others.

Anything else floated in the marketing copy (mechanics, rewards, exact pricing, exact timing) is aspirational and non-binding until it appears in the game’s end-user license agreement at launch.

If you send us comments, suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the chronicle or the site, you grant NaN Logic LLC a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use that feedback to improve the game and the site, without attribution or compensation. You confirm the feedback is yours to give.

We may change, add, or remove parts of the site at any time without notice. We may also pause it for maintenance, or take it down entirely if circumstances require it. We are not liable to you for any loss caused by site downtime or by changes to the site.

We may remove your email from the waitlist or block your access to the site at any time, for any reason, without notice. The likely reasons are the prohibited activities listed above; we’d rather not need this clause at all.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NaN Logic LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of: your use of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any third party’s rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. NaN Logic LLC and you each consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Illinois for any matter that is not subject to the arbitration clause below.

Informal first. Before filing anything, the parties agree to try to resolve any dispute informally for at least 30 days from the date one party gives the other written notice of the dispute. Send notice to HRM@nanlogic.com.

Binding arbitration. If we can’t resolve a dispute informally, you and NaN Logic LLC agree to resolve it through binding arbitration seated in Illinois, conducted on an individual basis. Class actions and class arbitrations are not permitted.

Exceptions. The arbitration clause does not apply to (a) actions to enforce or protect intellectual property rights, (b) claims for injunctive or equitable relief, or (c) small-claims-court actions that qualify for that court’s jurisdiction.

Visiting the site, sending us emails, and submitting the waitlist form are electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications from us, and you agree that all agreements, notices, and disclosures we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing.

These terms (with the Privacy Notice) are the entire agreement between you and us about the site. If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. We may assign these terms to an affiliate or to a successor in connection with a merger or sale; you may not assign them.
